A weathered root drifted in with the tide and became entrenched into the sand. Seeing this conjured visions of Wasgo, the Sea Wolf, ready to stand guard. Its duty is to protect the beauty of Wickaninnish Bay, Pacific Rim National Park, on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
