| Through his power as the Transformer, (and the use of trickery!) Raven stole the Moon from the chief. Flying with it over the Nass River, he came upon eulachon fishermen. Raven, being hungry, said: "If you will give me eulachon, I will give you light to fish in the darkness". In disbelief, they watched as Raven revealed the Moon, and they were able to fish by its light. They gave Raven his fill of eulachon, and seeing no further use for the Moon, he flew away and tossed it into the dark sky. | |||
